NEW Event at Ford Airport!
June 13, 2026
Summer Fly-In and Flour Drop!
On International Young Eagles Day, EAA Chapter 439 and Kubick Aviation are planning a full day of exciting aviation action!
Young aviation dreamers (Ages 8-17) can pre-register for a FREE flight the morning of Sat. June 13th. Give 'em a gift they'll never forget!
(Pre-Registration link coming soon)
Pilots from across the region will fly in for the fun, with a Flour Drop and STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) competitions as thrilling highlights for the community to enjoy.
In the Flour Drop, pilots make a low-altitude pass and release a bag of flour, aiming for a target near the runway. The STOL competition challenges pilots to see who can take off in the shortest distance and land in the shortest rollout from touchdown to a full stop.
This will be a family-friendly event, so Dickinson County — save the date for Saturday, June 13, 2026!
