Check-In Time
 

For on-time departures, passengers and baggage must be checked in at least 60 minutes prior to departure. Passengers will not be accepted past 30 minutes prior to departure. Beginning April 8, 2025, the baggage cutoff will be 45 minutes prior to departure. Please allow extra time if you have special boarding requirements.

Acceptable Identification at TSA Checkpoint
 

Adult passengers 18 and older must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel.

 

The list of acceptable IDs is subject to change without notice. TSA strongly encourages you check this list again before traveling, so you do not arrive at the airport without acceptable ID.

Beginning May 7, 2025, Michigan residents must present a REAL ID-compliant document to fly within the United States and enter certain federal facilities to comply with federal law. REAL ID requirements ensure the secure production and issuance of licenses and IDs to prevent copying or altering.
